The Warsaw School of Mathematics describes a group of mathematicians working in logic, set theory, point-set topology and real analysis in the 1920s and 1930s. Their journal was Fundamenta Mathematicae (founded in 1920), one of the first specialized pure mathematics journals in the world. Here in 1933 Tarski published his celebrated theorem on the undefinability of the notion of truth. Notable members of this school were:
