Rowlett

Alternate uses: Rowlett (disambiguation)

The Rowlett numbering system is a proposed numbering system that differs from the common short scale numbering system as follows:

  • The common long scale system uses n-illion, using Latin-derived numerical prefixes, to mean 106n where n is any number greater than or equal to 2.
  • The Rowlett system uses "gillion" for 109 and n-illion for 103n, where n is an integer greater than or equal to 4, using Greek-derived numerical prefixes. (Million is common to both systems.)
