National Park of American Samoa

Established in 1988, the National Park of American Samoa is a United States National Park on the American territory of American Samoa. The park area is on three separate islands, Tutuila, Ofu, and Tau. The National Park Service leases the land in the park from Samoan village councils. The park includes a coral reef and two pieces of rain forest and is particularly popular for hiking and scuba diving.

The park is accessible by rental car from the airport at Pago Pago. Several scheduled flights from Pago Pago also enter the park and several other parks in nearby Samoa, and public transportation makes regular stops throughout the park. Fewer than 1,000 people visit the park in an average year.
